So T in the Park isn’t happening this year. I myself was quite upset at the news but at the same I wasn’t very surprised. The past two years have really taken to light the downsides of the festival. It’s not all just music and fun. That’s not to say we didn’t have a great time, there was just points where I’d of ratherbeen in my bed instead of waking up in a cold muddy tent to more rain and tinnies.
But back to the point. So the T in the park organisers decided to not go through with T this year but instead hold a 3 day event at Glasgow Green which ill be held on the 7th-9th of June. The event is a festival without the camping that will go on from Friday through to Saturday. Quite similiar to the summer sessions in Bellahouston park. What really has swayed me to this event though is the line up, especially the headliners. Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro. Three massive names in music. Other bands that have been announced include The Kooks, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Two Door Cinema Club and Blossoms, plus more.
More acts ar too be announced so we shall see how that goes but so far it’s looking pretty promising.
